Meet Taku
Taku is the founder and head chef of Taku’s Cake Box, and the hands behind every box that leaves her kitchen in Harare. She has always been passionate about food: cooking it, sharing it, and watching people’s faces at the first spoonful.
From catering cakes for celebrations to feeding everyone at family gatherings, she learned that dessert is how people feel looked after. Cake boxes are her way of bringing that feeling to an ordinary week. Every Friday she bakes a small batch, layer by layer, so each box is as generous as the last.
